Pro. Wu Jin-ping got his PH.D in American history from Nankai University in 1997. And now he is full professor of the school of International Studies/ Academy of Overseas Chinese Studies, Jinan University. His research interest focuses on American Studies and Overseas Chinese and International Immigration. He once visited New York University as an advanced Fulbright scholar in 2005, worked as visiting scholar in De La Salle University, the Philippines and visiting researcher in Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore. He has finished 1 research programs granted by Guangdong Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science and 2 by Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and now is in charge of a program Globalization, Diaspora and Development, granted by National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science (2012-2015). His brief publications include: FREDERICK DOUGLASS AND THE BLACK LIBERATION MOVEMENT, Garland Publishing, Inc., New York & London/2000, and HISTORY OF CHINESE CANADIAN, Guangdong Higher Education Press, 2001.
吴金平，1997年获南开大学美国政治史博士学位，1997年7月加盟暨南大学，曾于2005年在美国纽约大学做Fulbright 高级访问学者，在新加坡东南亚研究所和菲律宾华人博物馆与德拉萨拉大学做访问学者。现为暨南大学国际关系学院/华侨华人研究院教授，博士研究生导师，研究兴趣为美国研究和华侨华人与国际移民。主持完成广东省社科基金项目1项，国务院侨办项目2项，现主持国家社科基金项目《全球化下的侨民战略与发展研究》（2012-2015）1项。代表作包括FREDERICK DOUGLASS AND THE BLACK LIBERATION MOVEMENT, Garland Publishing, Inc., New York & London/2000和《加拿大华侨华人史》。
