2005年毕业于中南大学，获得冶金物理化学博士学位。2008-2009年在美国犹他留学。研究方向涉及湿法冶金，资源综合利用、电化学、材料化学等领域。主持和参与了国家科技攻关项目、国家科技支撑计划、国家自然科学基金、湖南省自然科学基金及校企合作项目30多项。在资源综合利用和电化学冶金领域取得突出成就，其中青海盐湖卤水制备高纯镁砂技术、Ni-Fe合金箔和Ni箔的电沉积制备工艺都成功实现工业化生产。
主要科研成果：
1）获中国授权发明专利3项，申请发明专利8项。
2）发表学术论文30余篇，其中SCI收录10多篇。

4）承担材料冶金分析检测技术，电化学研究方法，科技英语的教学
