学习和工作经历:
1984年毕业于清华大学工业仪表与自动化专业,获得工学学士;1988年毕业于加拿大Toronto大学电气工程专业,获得理学硕士;1991年毕业于加拿大Toronto大学电气工程专业,获得理学博士。
1991—1996任加拿大Calgary大学电气与计算机工程系助教授;1996—1997任加拿大Calgary大学电气与计算机工程系副教授;1997—1999任加拿大Alberta大学电气与计算机工程系副教授;1999至今为加拿大Alberta大学电气与计算机工程系教授。2008年4月至今为山东大学长江讲座教授。
研究领域:
在科研工作方面,长期从事现代计算机控制和数字信号处理等方面的研究工作。在采样/多率系统的鲁棒控制、最优控制、信号处理、过程控制领域作出了重要的贡献,在国际刊物发表论文100余篇,出版专著一部。
