吴化璋，男，1966年7月生，安徽全椒人，教授，硕士生导师。安徽大学硕士，北京师范大学博士，中国科技大学博士后，研究方向为矩阵与算子代数。
2002年9月起安徽大学副教授，2005年9月晋升教授。2009．9-12在以色列本古里安大学（Ben-Gurion University of the Negev，Israel）数学系做访问学者。2003年以来，主持安徽省教育厅自然科学基金和安徽省自然科学基金项目共3项，以主要骨干参与国家自然科学基金2项。研究领域涉及矩阵与算子理论及其应用、数值分析与计算代数、多项式与线性控制系统，在国内外重要学术刊物上发表论文30余篇，是国际知名刊物Linear Algebra and its Applications、J．of Computational and Applied Mathematics和国内一些重要刊物的审稿人。教学方面，主讲课程有高等数学、高等代数（续论）、矩阵论、矩阵分析、算子理论、数值代数、多项式与线性控制系统等，承担过多项教研与教改项目。
