目前指导学生8名，主要从事无线传感网络、可信计算与可信通信、Mobile-3DTV传输技术、网络质量评估和网络故障分析、嵌入式远程监控技术等方向的研究。
已毕业学生主要在中国移动、华为、大华、锐捷、利尔达、海康威视等单位从事技术或管理工作。

现任信息科学与工程学院院长助理，兼电子与通信技术系主任。
兼任中国电信宁波公司企业发展顾问。
