目前从事的主要研究工作包括薄膜材料(功能薄膜、纳米多层膜和纳米复合膜)与薄膜技术;超硬薄膜材料及应用;表面改性与表面科学;材料表面功能化及生物电化学应用等方面的研究。在研主持项目有校基金项目、南京理工大学卓越计划“紫金之星”资助项目、校自主科研重大项目子课题、江苏省青蓝工程优秀青年骨干教师专项资助、江苏省自然科学基金项目、教育部博士点新教师基金和国家自然科学基金项目。
