研究方向：从事组合算法（图的最大亏格多项式算法等）、低维拓扑（扭结）、图论（拓扑图论、图的连通性、控制数）、组合计数（地图计数）等方向的研究。
陈仪朝 博士、副教授(Email: ycchen@hnu.edu.cn ) 、1979年05月出生、汉族、湖南永州人。2006年毕业于北京交通大学获运筹学与控制论博士学位（导师为刘彦佩研究员），同年进入湖南大学数学与计量经济学院任教, 2008年被评为副教授。曾担任《离散数学》、《高等代数》、《微积分》等课程的教学。目前已完成研究论文20余篇，其中已经发表或接收论文17篇。近年来获得了不可定向平均亏格的最优界及可定向平均亏格的若干新的下界、刻画了图的最大亏格以BETTi数为下界的结构特征、解决了斯塔尔猜想及获得了若干经典图类的嵌入（地图）分布的显式等结果。论文发表在《中国科学》、《数学学报》、《Canadian journal of Mathematics》、《Canadian Mathematical Bulletin》、《The Electronic Journal of Combinatorics》、《Graphs and Combin.》等国内外重要期刊上。
社会服务：担任《European J. Combin.》、《Discrete Math.》、《Graphs and combin.》《中国科学》等国内外杂志的审稿人。
研究项目：目前正主持国家自然基金项目:图的嵌入分布若干问题的研究, 项目号批准号：1090 1048 (2010-01至2012-12)。
