韩冬，男，博士、副研究员。2000年，毕业于武汉大学生命科学学院，获学士学位。2005年于中国科学院水生生物研究所获博士学位。目前，主要从事鱼类营养生理学和鱼类能量学的研究。2009年，赴美国加州大学戴维斯分校动物科学系做访问研究；2010年，赴挪威国家营养及海产品研究所(NIFES)进行访问研究。期间，研究了环境因子和合成代谢信号对鲑鳟类的摄食和应激相关基因在转录水平和蛋白水平上的响应模式。近年来，主持了公益性行业专项课题201003020、国家自然科学基金项目、国家科技支撑计划的子课题、973项目和国家水专项子课题等多项研究。
目前，已发表研究论文47篇，其中第一作者发表的SCI源刊物9篇；起草国家标准一项，申请发明专利1项，获得授权发明专利1项;2009年，获湖北省科技进步奖一等奖；2012年，获武汉市东湖高新区标准化贡献奖;2013年，加入“中国科学院青年创新促进会”；2013年，被“淡水水产健康养殖湖北省协同创新中心”聘为第一批PI。
研究领域：1.营养生理学：研究营养物质在水产动物体内消化、吸收和转运过程中的内在调控机制;2.鱼类营养学：研究水产动物的营养需求，对饲料原料的利用，营养物质摄入不足或过量对水产动物的影响，营养物质对水产品品质的影响等;3.水产精确养殖理论及技术：利用鱼类能量学模型，研究水产养殖精确投喂理论及技术，为可持续渔业发展提供支撑。
