1.基本信息

沈清武,男,1973年10生,湖南省沅陵县人,教授,博士生导师。1997年本科毕业于南京农业大学。1997年6月至2001年8月于湖南省安江农业学校(现湖南省怀化职业技术学院)任教。2001年9月进入中国农业大学学习,2004年6月获硕士学位。同年进入美国怀俄名大学(University of Wyoming)动物科学系攻读博士学位,2007年5月获得哲学博士学位。2007年5月至2009年8月于普渡大学(Purdue University)从事博士后研究工作,研究方向为肌肉生物学。2009年9月至2010年8月于华盛顿大学(University of Washington, Seattle)医学院从事博士后研究工作,研究方向为肌肉干细胞生物学。

2.研究方向

本人的主要研究方向为肌肉干细胞生物学,动物肌肉生长发育的分子调控机理。主要包括以下三个方面:

(1)动物肌肉生长发育,特别胎儿阶段肌肉生长发育的分子机理及调控。大量研究表明,

哺乳动物(包括人类)肌肉中肌肉纤维的数量在动物出生前就已经决定。动物出生后肌纤维的数量不再增加,肌肉的生长取决于肌纤维大小的增长。也就是说,产肉动物肉品的产量和质量在胎儿出生前就已经部分决定。因此,对胎儿阶段肌肉生长发育分子机理的研究对提高产肉动物的产量和质量具有重要的理论指导意义。我们以前的研究表明母羊营养缺乏和营养过剩都降低了胎儿肌细胞的数量和肌肉量,增加了后代二型糖尿病发生的可能性。虽然我们也发现母体营养缺乏提高了胎儿肌肉中pTEN 的表达,营养过剩降低了胎儿肌肉中腺嘌呤单核苷酸激活的激酶(AMP-activated protein kinase, AMPK)的表达和活性,但其分子调控机理还不清楚。因此,AMPK和Wnt信号通道对肌肉生长发育的调控及其分子机理将是本人近期主要研究的方向之一。

(2)肌纤维类型的决定机理其调控。成年动物骨骼肌中主要有I, IIA, IIB和IID(X)四种

类型的肌肉纤维。不同的纤维类型具有不同的能量代谢方式和收缩特点。因此肌肉中肌纤维类型的组成不仅影响动物屠宰后的肉品品质,也影响动物的运动能力。因此明了肌纤维类型的决定机理,在动物生产中能为控制肌纤维类型组成,改善肉品品质提供理论基础。在竞技运动中,能指导运动员训练,调控肌纤维类型组成,提高运动能力。

(3)肌肉中脂肪细胞的来源及脂肪形成机理的研究。
