简介：
史海涛，男，汉族，1963年8月出生，教授，中共党员。1995年毕业于北京师范大学，获生态学博士学位。现任中国科学院成都生物研究所博士生导师和客座研究员；海南省重点学科-生态学科和海南师范大学重点学科-动物学科学术带头人、海南师范大学生态学和动物学硕士点负责人、生物系主任；中国动物学会两栖爬行动物学分会专业委员会副主任委员、世界自然保护联盟物种生存委员会中国两栖爬行动物专家组副主席。为海南省优秀专家和享受国务院特殊津贴专家。曾获全国师德先进个人、全国五一劳动奖章等荣誉称号。
主要从事两栖爬行动物和鸟类，特别是龟类生态学、分类学、保护与人工驯养繁殖的研究。发表论文90余篇，出版著作和教材11部。主持完成国家自然科学基金、教育部、农业部和国际合作等国内外科研项目30余项，2003年获龟类研究与保护国际奖。曾在美国和英国进行短期访学，已与国内外学者开展了广泛的学术合作与研究。
讲授过本科生的动物学和研究生的生态学等课程。2003至2006年与北京师范大学联合培养博士生一人，该生获评北师大优秀研究生、优秀学术奖和优秀博士毕业生。2001至2006年为美国LOMA LINDA大学兼职教授，联合指导美籍硕士生一人。目前指导硕士研究生6人，与四川大学联合培养博士生一人。指导博士生和硕士生申请获准主持国际项目四项。指导学生2005年获全国大学生挑战杯二等奖；2006和2007年分获第三届和第四届“中国青少年科技创新奖”。
