缪龙，男，1976年7月出生，汉族，中共党员。1997年6月毕业于扬州大学数学系，获理学学士学位，2000年6月毕业于扬州大学数学系，获理学硕士 学位，2003年6月毕业于中国科学技术大学，获理学博士学位。2008年，硕士生导师，2011年8月，扬州大学破格晋升为教授

本人主要从事有限群的研究，特别是利用子群的可补性质、置换性质、Sylow对象的正规化子性质等局部性质对有限群的结构进行研究。近年来，通 过有限群的某些子群(其中包括Fitting子群、广义Fitting子群)的Sylow对象的局部性质，得到了超可解群、p-幂零群等具体群类的新刻 画，并将相关结果推广到一般群系。自2002年以来在《J.Group Theory》、《Illinois Journal of Mathematics》、《Comm.Algebra》、《Siberian Mathematical Journal 》《Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal》等国内外重要期刊公开发表学术论文近40篇,其中有22篇被SCI收录。
