研究领域和兴趣：
有机小分子催化构筑新型具有药物活性的功能性分子方面是近年来新兴的比较活跃的一个研究方向，该方向可以避免传统的金属催化对于环境的影响从而有望在工业 上进行大剂量的合成。有机卡宾催化构筑C-C键的反应便是其中最为活跃的分支之一，本课题多年来从事于利用有机卡宾催化合成杂环类药物分子，具体研究方向 主要包括：
氮杂卡宾（NHC）分子的设计以及合成
类似的其他杂环卡宾的合成
新型卡宾在C-C键构筑方面的反应研究
具有药物活性的天然产物的全合成
具有药物活性的有机分子的设计以及合成
有机化学反应的工艺优化
