1989年本科毕业于安徽科技学院畜牧兽医系,1992年硕士毕业于南京农业大学后回安徽科技学院任教。期间于1996.8-1997.6在对外经济贸易大学德语中心集训,1997.8-1998.6作为国家教委代表团的成员访问德国,1998.4-1999.12在安徽科技学院主持畜牧兽医系行政工作。2005.12毕业于美国Auburn大学兽医学院,获生物医学博士学位。2010.5-2012.7任Ross大学兽医学院助理教授,2012.8被聘为“江苏特聘教授”并加盟扬州大学兽医学院,2013.4被聘为美国奥本大学客座教授。

主要从事肺炎衣原体发病机理、分子诊断学、感染和慢性炎症性疾病相关性的研究。迄今已申请/获得13项国际、国内专利,发表论文45篇,在The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Infection and Immunity, Genetics, Genes and Immunity, Journal of Clinical Microbiology 等SCI期刊上发表论文25篇。现为Journal of Microbiology and Microbial Research 的主编, Journal of Infection in Developing Countries 的科学编辑,以及International Journal of Diabetes 和Open Veterinary Journal 的编委。

研究方向和领域:

分子诊断学、兽医微生物学和感染性肥胖(infectobesity)的分子机理。
