主要研究方向及特色:主要从事1)可压缩空气动力学的高精度算法研究;2)可压缩多介质流特别是大密度比、高压比多介质流的算法研究和数值模拟;3)水下空化流、超空化流的物理模型建立及相应的算法研究和数值计算;4)移动边界问题数值方法。所研究领域大多属世界前沿包括可压缩流非线性流固耦合数值技术、水下爆炸冲击数值模拟、水下空化及超空化模拟、动边界捕捉技术、多介质Riemann问题解及其解算器、可压缩多介质流高精度数值算法。于2003年发展了自己的modified ghost fluid method。2004年发展了等熵空化流模型(isentropicone-fluid cavitation model)。本人在大密度比、高压高温比多介质流的算法研究已进入世界前沿。本人的研究跟实际应用紧密相连,在工业、国防和能源领域有着广泛的应用。近5年发表SCI论文20余篇,单篇引用最高达100次。20多次被国际、国内著名大学和研究所邀请作学术报告。2007年中国数学大会特邀报告人之一。

个人简历

刘铁钢分别于1986和1989年获得北京大学数学系学士和硕士。从1989至1995年,在中国科学院计算数学研究所工作。于2001获新加坡国立大学机械系工学博士。从1999年至2007年,在新加坡国立大学和新加坡科技局高性能计算研究所工作和教学。于2007年八月回国任教,现为北京航空航天大学数学与系统科学学院教授、博士生导师、蓝天学者。主要研究兴趣有可压缩计算流体动力学、可压缩多介质流体数值方法、多介质Riemann问题解及解算器、空化流模型及数值方法、非线性流固耦合、动边界问题及LevelSet方法。
