工作经历：1985 年于华中师范大学获理学学士； 1988 年于华中师范大学获理学硕士； 2004 年于香港城市大学获理学博士。 2005 年 2 月于香港理工大学博士后研究。 1998 年 12 月到 2000 年 8 月到香港城市大学访问研究。 2001 年为华中师范大学数学系副教授，2004年3月为中国人民大学信息学院副教授， 2006年6月起为中国人民大学信息学院教授。
研究成果与获奖情况：发表论文100余篇，近几年在相关国际学术会议及国际核心期刊上发表学术论文90多篇， 包括多个国际一流期刊， 如IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing， Journal of Graph Theory等和顶级国际会议， 如INFOCOM。曾参加过多项国家自然科学基金，以及参加国家973，863等。目前主持一项自然科学基金（2011—2013）和一项国家自然科学基金重点项目的子项目负责人(2012-2014),参加一项国家自然科学基金青年项目。
