朱玉雷，男， 1964年9月生。理学博士，研究员，博士生导师。
1987年毕业于安徽师范大学化学系，获理学学士。1988-2005年，在中国科学院山西煤炭化学研究所学习、工作，获得物理化学专业的硕士学位、以及物理化学专业的博士学位；期间获得中科院院长奖学金优秀奖，和中科院优秀博士学位论文奖。2005年12月和2007年2月，赴澳大利亚Monash大学绿色化学研究中心进行技术合作，进行植物油转化为高附加值含氧化合物的应用基础研究。现任中科院山西煤化所煤转化国家重点实验室与合成油品工程研究中心研究员。
朱玉雷研究员的主要科技成果有：获得2005年度国家技术发明二等奖，2004年度中国石油和化学工业协会技术发明一等奖及山西省技术发明二等奖，中科院院长奖学金优秀奖和优秀博士论文奖，以及获得2006年度国务院特殊专家津贴等。目前主要从事精细化工中间体的催化加氢和脱氢方面、以及耦合反应的研究，同时参加煤基合成油攻关项目。在国内外核心刊物发表论文30余篇，申请国家发明专利11项。已指导毕业2名硕士生， 1名博士生；目前正在指导3名硕士生，4名博士生
